  • Best-Selling Prefilled Pod Flavours: A Stocking Guide for UK Retailers

Best-Selling Prefilled Pod Flavours: A Stocking Guide for UK Retailers

With hundreds of prefilled pods and nic salts on the market, deciding what to stock can be hard. This guide groups flavours into the families that sell most consistently in the UK, so you can build a range that moves fast without tying up cash.

    The core flavour families

Flavour family Typical examples Why it sells
Berry mixes Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Blackberry Raspberry, Cherry Berry The best-known bar-style profile
Ice and menthol Blue Razz Ice, Grape Ice, Menthol Strong repeat buyers
Single fruits Watermelon, Strawberry, Grape, Lemon Lime Easy to recognise on shelf
Drinks Cola, Lemonade, Energy blends A steady seller across brands
Tobacco and mint Tobacco, Butter Mints, Spearmint Smaller share but very loyal buyers

    How to build your range

    1. Start with the top brands. Customers ask for Elf Bar, Lost Mary, SKE Crystal, IVG, Hayati and Elux by name.
    2. Cover every flavour family in each brand, with extra depth in berry and ice flavours.
    3. Stock the matching pods for every kit you sell. Pod reorders are where repeat sales come from. See our pod compatibility chart.
    4. Carry the same flavours as nic salts for customers who move to refillable kits. Bar-style nic salts such as Elf Liq, Elux Legend salts and SKE Crystal salts are made to match.
    5. Offer both strengths where available: 20mg sells most, but keep some 10mg.

    Reordering tips

    • Review sales every week and reorder your top 10 lines first.
    • Drop slow flavours after a month and test a new one in their place.
    • Keep a small stock of tobacco and menthol, as these buyers rarely switch.
    • Check duty stamps on new stock from 1 October 2026.

    Frequently asked questions

How many flavours should a small shop stock?

Many small shops start with 10 to 15 flavours per top brand, covering every flavour family, then grow the range based on sales.

Are flavour names the same across brands?

Not always. Similar profiles may have different names, so group stock by flavour family rather than name.

Do flavoured vapes have any new rules?

Flavour and display rules are under review in the UK. Keep displays factual and check the latest government guidance.

Vapes Direct Wholesale sells to adults aged 18 and over only. Vaping products containing nicotine are not for use by non-smokers. This product contains nicotine which is a highly addictive substance.

  • UK Vape Rules After the Disposable Ban: What Shops Can Sell in 2026

UK Vape Rules After the Disposable Ban: What Shops Can Sell in 2026

The rules for selling vapes in the UK have changed a lot since 2025. If you run a vape shop, convenience store or newsagent, this checklist covers what you can stock in 2026 and what to watch out for. It is a summary, not legal advice, so always check the latest guidance from the government and your local Trading Standards.

    1. Single-use vapes are banned

Since 1 June 2025, it has been illegal to sell or supply single-use (disposable) vapes anywhere in the UK, whether they contain nicotine or not. A vape must be rechargeable and refillable or have replaceable pods to be sold. That is why the market has moved to:

    2. Product limits (TRPR)

    Rule Limit
    Nicotine strength Maximum 20mg/ml
    Nicotine e-liquid bottle Maximum 10ml
Tank or pod capacity Maximum 2ml
Notification Nicotine products must be notified to the MHRA

Shortfills with no nicotine can be sold in larger bottles.

    3. Vaping Products Duty and duty stamps

From 1 October 2026, all vaping liquids carry a duty of £2.20 per 10ml, with a duty stamp on the packaging. Eligible unstamped stock can be sold until 31 March 2027. From 1 April 2027, only stamped products can be sold. Buy from suppliers who can show the stamp and keep your purchase records. Our duty guide has more detail.

    4. Age of sale

It is illegal to sell vaping products to anyone under 18. Many shops use a Challenge 25 policy, train staff, and keep a refusals log. Online sellers must use age verification at checkout.

    5. Advertising

Nicotine vape advertising is heavily restricted in the UK, including on social media. Keep in-store and online information factual.

    Stocking compliant products

We focus on rechargeable and refillable products within UK limits. Open a trade account to see wholesale pricing.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I still sell my old disposable stock?

No. Selling single-use vapes has been illegal since 1 June 2025, including old stock.

Do 0mg products need a duty stamp?

Yes. The Vaping Products Duty applies to all vaping liquids, with or without nicotine.

Are 10K and 15K prefilled pod kits legal?

Yes, if they are rechargeable, use pods of no more than 2ml and any refill bottles are 10ml or less.

Vapes Direct Wholesale sells to adults aged 18 and over only. Vaping products containing nicotine are not for use by non-smokers. This product contains nicotine which is a highly addictive substance.

    • The brands your customers ask for: Elf Bar, Lost Mary, SKE Crystal, IVG, Hayati and Elux.
    • Flexible order sizes, so you can test new lines without large minimums.

  • Wholesale Vape Supplier UK: How to Stock Your Vape Shop in 2026

Wholesale Vape Supplier UK: How to Stock Your Vape Shop in 2026

The UK vape market has changed a lot in a short time. Disposables were banned from sale on 1 June 2025, and the Vaping Products Duty and duty stamps scheme started on 1 October 2026. If you run a vape shop, convenience store or online store, choosing the right wholesale vape supplier matters more than ever. This guide covers what to stock, what to check and how to buy at trade prices.

    What sells in 2026

With disposables gone, demand has moved to rechargeable products. The core categories most shops stock are:

    • Prefilled pod kits and prefilled pods: the closest replacement for disposables and a strong repeat purchase.
    • Refillable pod kits: for customers who want lower running costs.
    • 10ml nic salts: fast-moving, repeat-purchase products in a wide range of flavours.
    • Shortfills and nicotine shots: popular with experienced vapers.
    • Replacement pods and coils: small, regular top-up sales that keep customers coming back.

You can browse all of these on our prefilled pod kits, nic salts, shortfills and coils pages.

    Compliance checks before you buy

Selling non-compliant stock can lead to seizures and fines from Trading Standards. Before you place an order with any supplier, check that:

    • Nicotine products follow the UK rules: a maximum 2ml tank or pod, a maximum 20mg/ml nicotine strength and nicotine e-liquid in bottles of up to 10ml.
    • Products are notified for sale in the UK and carry the correct health warning.
    • Liquids are duty paid and carry a valid duty stamp, or are eligible unstamped stock you can sell before 31 March 2027.
    • No single-use (disposable) vapes are included.

HMRC guidance says retailers and wholesalers that only sell duty-paid products do not need to apply for approval under the duty or stamps scheme. You do need to make sure the products you buy are duty paid.

    Choosing a wholesale vape supplier

A good supplier makes your life easier. Look for:

    • Clear trade pricing with no hidden costs.
    • Fast UK dispatch, so you are never out of stock of your best sellers.
    • Low minimum order quantities, so you can test new flavours and products without tying up cash.
    • A wide range of leading brands in one place, to save time on ordering.
    • Responsive support when you need to check stock or sort out an order.

Tips for stocking a profitable range

    • Start with a core range of best-selling flavours in each category, then add new lines slowly.
    • Stock spare pods and coils for every device you sell. They are small, but they bring customers back.
    • Price shortfills with the duty in mind, as the duty on a 100ml bottle is £22.00 before VAT.
    • Review sales every month and drop slow lines.
